25 YEARS OF COLOR
05 GAMEBOY COLOR ANNIVERSARY
UX/UI
CONTEXT
The Gameboy Color Anniversary is a landing page website design celebrating 25 years of the creation of the console.
The objective of this project was to design 3 total “long-scroll” style pages formatting for both desktop and mobile. The goal was to communicate the product for a specific target audience that grew up with the product as well as finding a way to a visual look and feel that is separate from the product’s parent company. For this project i decided to pursue a nostalgic look and feel utilizing the UI like a gameboy console and it’s games.
In this project I designed home, history, and shop pages responsive on desktop and mobile.

REFLECTION
This project was one of my first true experiences with UX/UI design and visually developing multiple pages for adaptive layouts from desktop to mobile.
I feel it was able to successfully communicate the product while utilizing a visual style that was nostalgic but modern. It was done in order to highlight for users who grew up with the product that their childlike wonder was still able to roam free.
